The pricing for both versions is reasonable and great.

If you are looking for a premium program to do all of your conversions in once place and offline without connecting to the Internet, I would recommend it. It also works with the various image file types and you can work with the size and resolution a bit which is handy during the conversion process.Ĭustomer service was still friendly and professional :). I wasn’t able to work with this file type since I don’t have that on my personal computer, but I was able to work with other file types. For some of the file types like for Microsoft Publisher, you must have that program on your computer for it to convert and open it. They also include little tip bubbles in case you need them and they can be turned off under the help tab after you get the hang of it.Īnother thing I like about this program is that you can perform your conversions offline and all in one program, so you don’t have to have a program for every single file type that’s out there. The user interface is still clean and stuff is easy to find. Seven days is plenty of time to decide whether or not you would want to buy it and you have access to all the features in this trial.Įven though I had to download the professional version and the testing version to access the extraction from a scanned document, this opened a window for comparison for me.Īside from not being able to convert a scanned document with my test version, most of all the conversion to differing file types was the same.

If you want to try the professional which has ALL the features and doodads click here for the free download. The license I received for testing (which was for the standard version) did not give me access to the extraction of content from scanned documents (which is still my favorite feature for this program) by using OCR–which has a few other settings in regards to this, so I went and downloaded a free trial of their professional version which lasts for seven days. To see my review for the previous version (9.0) and some background on the program please click here.ĭisclaimer: I received a free license to test the new software which does not affect my opinions or my review. I was contacted by Investintech to try out their latest version of the Able2Extract program for free.
